Updated: Nov 30, 2021

An Italian dish that combines butter, garlic and lemon that tantalize your taste buds! It's an easy recipe that you can make any day of the week AND impress someone at a dinner party. I paired this with the Vesper Martini made by my beloved Corey :) Follow the steps below and let me know what you think!

Here's what you'll need:

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

4 garlic cloves, minced

3/4 cup dry white wine or chicken broth

1 TSP kosher salt, or to taste

1/2 TSP crushed red pepper flakes, or to taste

1 TSP black pepper

1.5 pounds large or extra-large shrimp, shelled or tails on

1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley

Freshly squeezed juice of 1 lemon

Your fav cooked pasta

Directions:

Step 1: In a large bowl, rinse the shrimp with lukewarm water and set aside. Prepare your pasta according to the box directions and then set aside. NOTE: Be sure to chop all the ingredients before cooking because it goes quick!

Step 2: In a large skillet, melt butter with olive oil. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add wine or chicken broth, salt, red pepper flakes and plenty of black pepper and bring to a simmer. Let wine reduce by half, about 2 minutes.

Step 3: Add shrimp and sauté until they just turn pink, 2 to 4 minutes depending upon their size. Stir in the parsley and lemon juice and serve over your favorite pasta.
